Sous Vide Steak Recipe Instant Pot

Sous vide is the new instant pot. Carefully take the steaks out of the bag, pat dry and sear in a frying/griddle pan over a high heat for a charred finish.

Sprinkle the steaks with salt and pepper or whatever seasoning you like. Once your sous vide cooking time finishes, open the lid and remove the bag. Fill instant pot liner to half way mark (do not exceed max), set to sous vide at the temp you want.

Remove steak from water bath and bag and carefully pat dry with paper towels. You can sear them right away or refrigerate them for a few days later. Fill up the instant pot’s inner liner with hot water from your tap.

Finally, top the steak with the can of dried tomatoes, making sure the tomatoes stay on top of the steak; Close the lid and set the valve to sealing position seal the lid, set to pressure cook on high for 20 minutes. Now the fun part begins.
